Doing The Award

The Duke of Edinburgh‘s International Award in Indonesia (the Award) equips young people for life and work. The Award empowers young Indonesians 14-24 years old to explore their potential, regardless of their background or circumstance.

Doing the Award can introduce you to new experiences beyond the classroom, giving you the opportunity to meet new people while learning and working in a new environment.

The Duke of Edinburgh International award is delivered in more than 130 countries with more than 8 million young people who have completed their Award.

Award Framework

3 levels of the Award: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Achieving an Award recognises individual goal setting and self improvement through weekly effort, persistence and achievement.
This is supervised by an Award Leader and Activity Assessor.

There are four Activity Sections to each level of the Award: Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service, and an Adventurous Journey.
To achieve the Gold Award, you must take part in an additional Residential Project
