Story

To mark the 100th year of the Award's Founder, HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, we want you to help us celebrate all he did to champion the infinite potential of young people, by taking on YOUR Challenge100.

Every year, millions of young people around the world take part in the Award; stepping outside of their comfort zones, building confidence and resilience, developing transferrable skills and helping their communities. And as young people worldwide face exceptional challenge and change in the wake of the pandemic, the Award is needed more than ever.

Thanks to everyone who has taken on the Challenge100 and raised funds to date. And there is still time to get involved!

Either you can do your own challenge now (just click on the start fundraising button above), or in January 2022 many of our Independent Award Centres (IACs) will be running the Challenge100 in their schools and organisations. If youre part of an Independent Award Centre, speak to your Award Coordinator to find out if your IAC will be getting involved!

All funds raised will go to The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation.

We want to ensure we build on The Duke's legacy by giving more young people access to the Award for years to come. Help us do this by taking on your own Challenge100, inspired by the millions of young people around the world, already challenging themselves through the Award. By raising awareness and funds, we can ensure the Award continues to grow, helping future generations of young people to discover their infinite potential and become #WORLDREADY.
